Data standards and platforms

One of the key challenges in a digital transformation is often not the software itself, but the data. Many projects define their own standards and implement solutions differently. eviFile’s credentials

eviFile are currently rolling out their ninth project with Alstom, having worked with them to create a digital standard for their signalling projects across the UK. This process involved a number of workshops to map out the optimal digital project with their team, running a proof of concept, ensuring the objectives had been met and then mapping out a 3 year programme to collect all of their data – digitally.

Atkins are working with eviFile currently to map out their engineering standards and to create a digital standard across their projects. Currently they are completing project one and are looking right across their process, from materials management right through to commissioning and hand over.
